White clay smoothing mask

Ingredients:
- 2 Spoons of white clay.
- Rose water.
- 1 untreated Lemon.
- 1 dash of orcanette or Red from Fes also called " Akar ".
Preparation :
In a bowl, put two spoons of white clay.
Add then a dash of red ochre and approximately one spoon of rose water.
Mix to obtain a homogeneous and smooth dough, in which you will add some drops of lemon.
The mixture so obtained must be enough substantial to be able to be spread over the face without pouring, avoiding lips and eyelids on which you will have put a compress soaked with rose water.
Let rest about ten minutes then, rinse in warm water then end the rinsing with the compresses of rose water.
Your complexion will show itself full of freshness, your features will be smoothed and your skin velvety.
To perfect this care, apply delicately on your face the rose cream with moisturizing virtues.

The Souak Natural Dental care
|
The Souak is the black walnut tree bark.
This bark appears under the shape of brown small strips, often rolled up around a branch of rosewood.
Thanks to its whitening and antiseptic action, the souak is used as a natural toothpaste.
It is enough to chew a scrap or to rub it directly on teeth and gums.
Spectacular result for a radiant smile.
Its taste is a little bit bitter but it’s quickly forgotten when we know that it contributes to cavities prevention and fight against ulcers.
Another way of using the souak:
Reduce it in powder by mixing it with the dried lemon bark. This powder is usable right away.

Already in ancient Egypt, the use of the kohl was very appreciated ...
This fine black, dark gray or blue powder is obtained from powder of antimony which is a " metalloid " with a metallic color. Its name comes from stibi in Greek (in Arab Khul).
This make-up possesses therapeutic virtues because it eliminates germs.
We apply it with a wooden stick, dipped into the rose water, level with lashes, blindly in a light movement leaving the internal corner of the eye towards the temple.
A small itch can be felt, it is the normal reaction which goes very fast.
Eyes waterl what dilutes the Khol powder.
The glance becomes magnetic and intense.
It can also be applied as "eyeliner" to highlight or to underline eyelids.
It is advised to remove with a cotton and a little cream the kohl which has poured, what allows to define with accuracy the outline of the eye.
The Kohl is generally kept in a small wooden phial decorated in a craft way, and endowed with the stick intended to use the product.

“Orcanette” or Red from Fez, also called “Aker”
|
The orcanette is a Mediterranean plant the root of which produces a dark red pigment which can be easily mixed with vegetable oil in cosmetic.
According to the quantity of powder used the intensity of the colour can vary from pink to dark red.
It can be used by a simple application of the powder on wet lips, but can also be mixed with a little bit of honey or with some vegetable oil (Argan, Wheat Germ, Sweet almonds) it will protect and nourish the fragile lip skin.
This 100% vegetable make-up will last for a long time.
It can also be applied on the cheeks as a blusher.

Protective balm for the lips

Completely natural and very protective, this balm protects with efficiency the fine lipskin, often assaulted by the climatic effects.
Ingredients:
- 2 Teaspoons of argan oil
- 1 Teaspoon of bees-wax
- 4 Drops of rosewood essential oil
Preparation:
Melt on slow fire with a water bath the bees-wax with the argan oil.
When the mixture becomes liquid remove from the fire then add the rosewood essential oil.
Then mix and put in a small jar that you will have sterilized before.
The ingredients which constitute this preparation were chosen for their respective properties:
The argan oil:
for the hydration and the vitamins that it contains
The bees-wax:
for its defender and repairer power
Rosewood essential oil:
for its preservative action and its pleasant smell.
NB :
If you don't have rosewood essential oil, a dash of benzoin powder can be used.

Lips colored balm or "natural red lipstick "

Replace effectively the red lipstick.
Completely natural and very protective, this balm protects with efficiency the fine lipskin, often assaulted by the climatic effects.
Ingredients:
- 2 Teaspoons of argan oil
- 1 Teaspoon of bees-wax
- 1 dash of orcanette or natural red " Âkar "
- 4 drops of rosewood essential oil
Preparation:
Melt on slow fire with a water bath the bees-wax with the argan oil.
When the mixture becomes liquid remove from the fire then add the rosewood essential oil. Then add a dash of orcanette also called natural red " Âkar ".
The intensity of the colour will depend on the amount of orcanette used and can vary from pink to carmine.
Then mix and put in a small jar that you will have sterilized before.
The ingredients which constitute this preparation were chosen for their respective properties:

The bees-wax:
for its defender and repairer power
"Orcanette" powder or Âkar natural Pigment stemming from the red root used formerly for the making of the dye.
The rosewood essential oil: for its preservative action and its pleasant smell.
